POTTERS!!! All students... see below
We are shapers, twisters, rollers and we really know the nature of change. Wet clay, leather...hot and with molten glass. We KNOW.
Right now we have to be as flexible as new clay.

Thank you to all the wonderful people who co-create
The Warwick Pottery Studio!
Everyone’s support and patience has been extraordinary. It is with great gratitude to the people who participate in classes in every way, who run the Warwick Community Center, and whose coordinated efforts allow us to start having classes again. Thank you Jack Azner for listening to me, and for cheerily shlepping and driving and being terrific! Thank you Howard Steng for making sure everything works, glaze making, all that muddy stuff, and making sure the studio flow is JUST RIGHT!
Tuition
The price for our six week semester is $260. This includes the following clay experience,
Clay
The purchase of clay is necessary. The cost is $35 per bag and includes the firings of that piece and all your glasses. At this time there are no other firing fees.
Firing elsewhere, Using your own glazes
If potters are so fortunate as to fire elsewhere, I’m so happy! Note: Tuition is inclusive of all services stated above, whether or not a student uses them (it’s so difficult to say no to nice people., please don’t put me on the spot! ) please see below for missed classes.
if you prefer your own glazes, please use them, making sure that they fire to cone 5 or 6.
Important!!! Non toxic glazes only!!!!!
👇
IMPORTANT!
👉🏽 Please note...I can not offer reduction in price if any student decides to fire their work elsewhere! Even if it’s your own kiln!!! Likewise, there is no reduction if you choose to bring your own clay. 👈

Make Up Classes
Please note that there are no make up classes right now and missed classes may not be carried into the next semester.
Unused classes
Unused classes may not be rolled into another semester.
Snow closings
We are obligated to close if the Warwick school system closes classes because of any type of road hazard. Any classes that Warwick Pottery cancels for any reason will be made up at the end of the semester.
Arrival and Departure
All students must arrive and leave promptly to allow for people flow in the building.
Please note the guidelines from the community center on it’s designated page. All students must honor all employee requirements.
.
ANY OTHER CLASS INCLUDING STUDIO TIME
Kindly note that any time in the studio other than your class is separate and will carry a fee. There are no discounts for taking multiple classes. You may use your class clay for a second experience at Warwick Pottery.
UNDERGLAZE
Specialty products such as underglaze are available in very limited supply. If you like to underglaze, please bring your own...just like in a painting class!
BATS AND BATPINS
Students are invited to bring their own bats and bat pins to be assured of having them. Warwick Pottery has a generous supply… But please note that some projects use up a lot of them. I do not want for you to be left without so please bring your own. We have found the bats from Speedball fit all of our wheel heads which either accept 9 inch or 10 inch bat pins.
FACE MASKS
Please bring your own highly rated face mask which will need to remain on your beautiful face for the entire time. Please do not bring food or drink into the class. ( Thank goodness music is allowed, right?)
FIRING TEMPERATURE
We fire to cone 6, mid range stoneware temperature
COVID RELIEF!
I have been firing pottery for displaced potters who need kiln space because of Covid closures.
$3. Per pound per piece AND per firing
If you make extra large light pieces, we will charge by the square inch.
